Allyson has always called VBS "DVS." It's pretty sweet to hear her say it.
Anyway, "DVS" is over for another year. Because I am the director, it is a stressful week, full of multi-tasking and organizing. It was a largely successful week. We had more students than ever (76!) and more volunteers than ever (30!). Everything went smoothly and the kids had a great time.
Allyson awoke each morning at about 6:00, dressed in her "DVS" shirt, and went to jump on Grandma V.! (Poor Grandma!) She had a great week with her buddies. Maybe we can get her to record one of her favorite songs to post later!

oh man. funny story, i was looking at my fridge this morning and i saw natalie's birth announcement with ally. and i re-read it.
i saw the blog thing. and i was like...hey! i have a blog.
so today i've been reading up on all of ally and natalie's adventures. they are SO adorable. i really wish i could meet them.
can you believe five years ago this month we last saw each other?i still talk about our beach trip all the time. :D (and our stone mountain hike, he he.)
well. maybe since i have a blog now, we can stay better connected and updated.
