After an embarrassingly long hiatus, we are back and somewhat motivated to start maintaining this site again. Here is a short video of Natalie singing one of the songs she sang at her school program this Spring. This is a rare moment, as Natalie is not fond of video cameras, so enjoy.
Unfortunately, it was just about a half hour after this sweet video was filmed that Natalie had one of the biggest temper tantrums we have experienced. At least we didn't capture that on video!!! :)

Allyson's First Grade Christmas Play
We had promised this quick video last week, but forgot to get it going until now.
Just a little background: Ally's school musical was titled, "Littlest Christmas Tree". It was based on a tree lot, full of trees waiting for Santa to arrive to pick one of them to be his special tree. Of course, every tree in the lot desired to be the chosen one, including a sweet little tree, the only tree who knew the meaning of Christmas is love. In the end, he is chosen.
So, here ya go.

Proof
Just in case you didn't believe me, or in case you're looking for a reason to smile (or giggle), David snagged a video of Natalie talking about the craft she created at MOPS this morning.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.

Yes Man
In the last week or two, Christopher has begun to nod his head in response to questions. In the video below, we were able to briefly capture his unique head nod on camera. Unfortunately, our beloved Allyson also has to make sure to shine in the video also! (Seriously, we have not been able to record a video without her interrupting it since Natalie was born!)
It is refreshing that Christopher chose to learn to say, "Yes" before he learned to say, "No". Now if only Natalie could begin to favor "Yes" over "No"!!!!!

My Daughter the Comedian...
A few weeks ago at dinner, Allyson told this gem of a joke that I thought you needed to hear. We are not sure where she came up with this, but I can assure you it was not ME!
Have a great week!

Translation...Please
Just a few days ago, I was reading to Ally while Christopher was playing and Natalie was watching television. Her show came to an end and she became whiny, asking for another show. Unfortunately, her native language is a bit hard to understand. Care to help?

Crawling Chris!
For several weeks now Chris has been trying his hardest to get his legs and arms in sync enough to move himself forward. He has been unsuccessful until this week. Are we ready for another mobile child in the Fox household?

Poopy Doopy Song....
Here is a video I stumbled across on Youtube while searching for Elmo videos with Natalie the other night. Poopy Doopy diapers are a daily part of our lives with two children under 2-years-old. We thought this was a fun spin on the joy of daily poopy doopy diapers! FYI---Nat has had two today already!!!! I know...too much information! :)

Two Saxes at once!
David found this video this morning and enjoyed it considerably. I was in another room and could hear his statements, "That's cool!" "Woa, I thought this was gonna be cheesy, but he's earned my respect!"
So, I thought we ought to share. Any sax man that earns Dave's respect is worth a quick listen. And, after all, he IS playing two saxophones at once. That takes skill.

Graduation Week
Last week was a big week for the Fox family.
On Thursday, Allyson officially graduated from Sonshine Patch Pre-School! This was a big day for her and we were excited to see her walk the aisle as “Pomp & Circumstance” played. Below, we have included some photos of the momentous occasion and a video of the graduating pre-school class singing.
On a related note, I (David) officially graduated with a degree in Computer Programming from our local Technical College last week. My graduation was not going to include any singing, so we opted out of attending!
Ally and I are accepting graduation gifts. You can send them via paypal or U.S. mail. :)
I apologize for the quality of the video…we used our regular camera and the results are less than wonderful.

How NOT to Use a Bouncy Seat
Okay, so y'all remember that we were done having kids? Well, last summer I had a small garage sale to get rid of some baby things. (Of course, this was about a month and a half before I learned I was pregnant.) Anyway, one of those baby items was a bouncy seat that we used for both girls. When I say "used," I mean ABSOLUTELY RELIED ON. If I were to make a list of my favorite and most used baby items, I think the bouncy seat would be right on top.
Last week I drove past a garage sale and had to stop because I saw the very same model of bouncy seat that I had sold last summer. I raced to the driveway and saw the absurd price of $2. Seriously, folks. TWO BUCKS. How could I possibly say no?
Anyway, it required some laundering and wiping down, but now it is ready for use by our soon-to-arrive son. What I had not anticipated was how much Natalie would enjoy the seat.
See for yourself! (Sorry for the audio on this...Allyson was watching a movie in the background when David captured the moment. Oh, and please forgive my messy playroom/basement. There just isn't enough time in the day.)

Smarty Pants Dance
I normally don't open forwarded emails, but today, due to the bulk of them that my Aunt Karen :) forwards, I decided to open one. This one was definitely worth opening.
I can't get enough of the smartypants dance! Kristen and I are going to get a map placemat and start working with Natalie!!!

Allyson Singing
Earlier this week, we posted about Allyson's spontaneous composition abilities. The other night we captured this gem for you to enjoy.
Here is Allyson singing, "God is Better Than My Microphone."

The Trouble with "The End"
Natalie has developed a love for books over the last few months. She has several that she loves way more than others. One of those is the one you will see in this video. She cannot stand it when "Dear Zoo" ends. Every time we read this particular book, she gets extremely upset. The video below went on for three readings of the book, but I have spared you the lengthy video in favor of this shorter clip!
Have a great weekend.

Childproof Drawers....No Problem!
It has only been a year, yet we are infinitely aware of Natalie's personality. She is hands-on, curious, exploratory, and brave. Not long after we installed child-safety latches on pertinent drawers and cupboards, she opened them with the skill of a master thief. Yep, that's our girl. Here's the proof.

They're Grape!!!!
We have found another food that Natalie loves....at least for this week. She was having so much fun eating grapes the other night that we decided to capture a little of it on video. Have a great weekend.

A Christmas Heartwarmer....No Room in the Inn
Merry Christmas from the Fox Family!
Here is a video of Allyson singing in her pre-school Christmas program. She is growing up way too fast.
